Project Prompt
You will be making your first book as a kind of self portrait. Document your interests and other facts about yourself in a collaged and/or hand drawn single sheet pamphlet for a two-color Riso print. You will create two documents/illustrations, one for each color. Consider overlaying these on the light table to make sure they register correctly. We will Riso-print and fold them to share in class. The single sheet pamphlet has eight sections and the possibility of utilizing the back side, think of how you can take advantage of the structure, will you have a title page, a back page and six pages of things about yourself ? Or will your illustrations span the spreads? Will you utilize the backside for an extra hidden image?
